Animal Diversity Web.

This site contains a detailed database on the different species of the animal kingdom. Many images that can be used in the classroom are offered. On the home page, there is direct access to the different categories of living organisms described: mammals, birds, crustaceans, molluscs, insects, etc. Each explanatory sheet on the grouping of organisms informs us about all possible aspects, including modes of reproduction, habitat, role in the ecosystem, their importance for humans, etc. Examples are given throughout the text, the more specific terms are defined, and by clicking on the name of the classes, species and families mentioned, one arrives at a more detailed explanatory sheet.
