Guyana : Aboriginal Youth Here and Abroad.
Auteur : Réseau In-Terre-Actif
This lesson covers the political instability and social divisions ongoing in Guyana. Students are first invited to read the information presented, and afterwards, to create a short radio message of 30 seconds that will be presented to the class. The message must communicate to the public the importance and pertinance of organisations such as the Ghost River Rediscovery Society and their projects, as much for Canadians as for aboriginal youth of other countries. Students are encouraged to communicate in an expressive way that convinces their audience. [Source : In-terre-Actif website]
