Life Magazine in collaboration with Google offers more than two million historical photographs representing the 1860s to today. The search is carried out either by key words, by themes or by decades. The use of the images is however limited to personal and non-commercial use. Several of these photos are unpublished and are of undeniable historical interest. The photos taken from the famous American magazine represent the different eras through famous people, milestones, sport and culture.
